Sozopol is a small  fishing village situated on the southern Black Sea coast 30
km south of Bourgas. The whole area south of Bourgas is largely undiscovered
by Western Europeans but is very popular with Bulgarians and other Eastern
Europeans. It has a small harbour and new marina. With its narrow cobbled
streets, shady, quiet squares and half-timbered houses Sozopol has a totally
different atmosphere to the commercialised resorts in the north.
